At Least One Dead Following Auto Collision on Miramar Way

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 20, 2022) – Sunday night, at least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene on the northbound lanes of the highway near Miramar Way around 5:10 p.m.

Authorities have not yet released the circumstances leading up to the accident. However, reports indicate that at least one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Although, the deceased victim’s identity remains undisclosed.

All northbound lanes on the 15 Freeway remained closed during cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation to determine further information about the multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 is still currently underway.
