Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Accident near Thunderbird Road

PHOENIX, AZ (February 17, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle collision near 44th Street.

The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., near Thunderbird Road on February 5. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

At this time, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a motorcyclist in the area.

Due to the extent of their condition, the motorcyclist was eventually pronounced dead. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Additionally, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

No further details are available at this time. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
