Unidentified Victim Dies in Auto Accident near Mayer Avenue in Buttonwillow

BUTTONWILLOW, CA (December 10, 2021) – Wednesday, one unidentified person died from a fatal collision on Snow Road.

Around 6:52 p.m., police responded to the scene near Mayer Avenue, just south of 7th Standard Road.

California Highway Patrol arrived and located one person dead at the scene. Though, the events surrounding the accident remain unknown.

Authorities have not released further information about the cars and people involved.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation into the fatal collision on Snow Road is underway.
