Pedestrian Accident on Discovery Bay Boulevard Result in Death
CONTRA COSTA, CA (September 8, 2021) – At least one person died late Sunday night after a fatal pedestrian accident on Discovery Bay Boulevard.
The incident happened around 10:35 p.m. September 5, in the area of Discovery Bay Boulevard and Willow Lake Road.
At this time, the CHP said the events leading to the crash remain unknown, however, a golf cart and a pedestrian were involved in the collision.
Responding officers declared the pedestrian dead on the scene. Officials withheld the identity of the victim pending notification of kin.
Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
