One Person Died and One Other Hospitalized after Simi Valley Pedestrian Crash

SIMI VALLEY, CA (September 20, 2021)  An unknown person died and another one sustained injuries following a pedestrian crash on Cochran Street Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. September 14, at the intersection of Cochran and Stow streets near Simi Valley High School.

According to the CHP, the first pedestrian tragically died after a vehicle struck them on the road, meanwhile the second pedestrian sustained injuries after the crash.

Paramedics rushed the second pedestrian to a local hospital with major injuries, however, officials have no information on their current condition.

At this time, it was not clear to the CHP how the collision happened, even though there were some nearby students who witnessed it.

However, there is no further information available about the pedestrian crash on Cochran Street.

In the meantime, the Simi Valley Police continues to investigate the crash. All updates will be made once available.
