Deadly Accident near Hargrave Street Results in Fatality
BANNING, CA (July 13, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a deadly two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries.
The incident happened just before 1:40 p.m., on the eastbound side of the freeway near Hargrave Street. Officers arrived to the area shortly after.
The events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, Firefighters and CHP located one person ejected from the mangled SUV.
Paramedics transported 6 people to a hospital, three of which are suffering from life-threatening injuries. One person was declared dead at the scene due to the extent of their condition.
In addition, one officer recovered a carseat from the side of the road.
In the end, officials shut down number three and four lanes after the two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10. But, the road has since reopened.
