Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Fiery Accident near Adams Street; 1 Killed

RIVERSIDE, CA (August 1, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Christopher Lee was hospitalized following a fatal motorcycle accident on 91 Freeway.

Police responded to the scene around 12:48 a.m., near Adams Street on July 27th.

For reasons unknown, Lee was riding a motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle. The impact of the collision ejected Lee from the motorcycle onto the road.

When officers arrived, they located two vehicles overturned and one engulfed in flames. In addition, debris were scattered across the roadway.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a bystander and good Samaritan, David Pride was reported to have saved Christopher Lee by dragging him off the roadway to safety.

At this time, authorities have not determined further events leading up to the collision. Those with more information are asked to contact Riverside Authorities.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
