Driver Dead, Two Passengers Hospitalized after Fiery Auto Accident near Old San Francisco Road
SUNNYVALE, CA (July 10, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, one victim was killed and two were injured in a fiery collision on Sunnyvale Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2:25 a.m., near Old San Francisco Road on June 25th.
Officers believe that a vehicle with three occupants slammed into a building while heading west on Old San Francisco Road.
Upon impact, the vehicle became engulfed in flames, trapping the driver inside. Emergency crews attempted to extricate the driver but were unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported two passengers to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
Following preliminary duties, police believe that impairment may have been a factor.
