One Dead after Amazon Truck Crash near Katella Avenue

CYPRESS, CA (September 19, 2022) – Sunday evening, one victim was killed and two were injured in an Amazon truck collision on Holder Street.

The incident occurred around 7:21 p.m., at the intersection of Holder Street and Katella Avenue.

At this time, the events leading to the collision remain unknown. However, reports indicate that an Amazon delivery truck and a Camaro collided in the area.

Medics arrived and pronounced a passenger inside the Camaro dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics took both the driver of the Camaro and the driver of the Amazon truck to a local hospital for further treatment.

At this time, Cypress officials have not released the name of all parties involved. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
