One Dead, One Injured after Auto Accident on East Broadway Boulevard

TUCSON, AZ (July 18, 2022) – Saturday, one person was killed and another was injured in a 2-vehicle crash on East Broadway Boulevard.

The deadly incident occurred on July 9th. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, the driver of a westbound Kia Soul struck an eastbound Buick for reasons unknown. Upon impact, the Buick driver suffered life-threatening injuries.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the Buick driver dead at the scene. In addition, the Kia driver suffered serious injuries.

At this time, authorities have not yet identified the involved victims. Furthermore, crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Police have not released further information about the deadly collision on East Broadway Boulevard. However, further investigation is still currently underway.
