Rollover Crash on Highway 129 Left 33-Year-Old Man Dead

WATSONVILLE, CA (December 20, 2021) – A rollover crash on Highway 129 claimed the life of one man and injured another Tuesday evening.

Officers responded to the incident along Highway 129 after receiving the report that a driver of a speeding 1999 Lexus lost control of his vehicle.

According to authorities, the vehicle collided with the groove, flipping it several times.

Police pointed out that the impact ejected two occupants from the Lexus.

Eventually, the first responders arrived and declared a 33-year-old male driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old female passengers sustained serious injuries.

At this time, the authorities are suspecting that alcohol and drugs contributed to the crash.

Meanwhile, Watsonville Officials are still investigating the rollover incident.
