38-Year-Old Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Corliss Avenue

SEATTLE, WA (November 3, 2021) A 38-year-old man died and a 17-year-old teen injured Monday after a deadly hit-and-run crash on Corliss Avenue.

The collision happened just before 2:00 a.m. on October 25 in the 8000 block of Corliss Avenue North.

According to authorities, they received reports of a collision involving the 2 individuals and a white F-150 in the area. Though the circumstances around the crash are still unknown.

Responding emergency crews located the 38-year-old man dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

Meanwhile, the medics took the teenager to the hospital with significant injuries.

As per witnesses, the suspect driver did not render any aid to the victims and continued driving eastbound on North 80th Street.

Furthermore, officers discovered a ridesharing scooter near the site, but it is unclear if it was involved in the incident.

At this time, Seattle Police ask anyone who knows the suspect to contact them at their local offices.
