Fatal Car Crash near Temecula Valley, 1 Dead and 1 Hospitalized

WILDOMAR, CA (September 9, 2022) – Saturday morning, a fatal crash near Temecula Valley Freeway left one person dead and one hospitalized.

The incident happened on September 3rd, at around 3:30 a.m., near the intersection of Grape Street and Olive Street.

According to Wildomar police, a 34-year-old Hesperia man was driving near the 15 freeway underpass when he veered onto the right shoulder of the road. Somehow, the car became airborne and ended up crashing into the dirt on the south side of Olive Street.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced the passenger of the involved vehicle dead at the scene. They also transported the driver to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

No other information regarding the crash near Temecula Valley was provided and an active investigation is ongoing.
