Two-Vehicle Accident at Laurel Canyon Boulevard Left 2 Casualties

STUDIO CITY, CA (February 28, 2023) – A two-car collision on 101 Freeway claimed one person’s life and left another person hospitalized early Sunday morning.

According to the CHP, the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on the westbound Hollywood (101) Freeway at Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear.

Tragically, the first responders declared one person dead at the scene. However, their identity was not disclosed to the public.

In addition, paramedics also transported one person to a hospital for unspecified injuries. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Around 8:00 a.m., crews managed to clear the site of the accident. No further details regarding the 101 Freeway two-car collision have been released to the public.
