Driver Hospitalized Following a Solo Car Crash on Armstrong Avenue near Fowler Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (August 11, 2021) – A driver sustained injuries Sunday after a solo car crash on Armstrong Avenue in Clovis.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on August 8 at the intersection of Armstrong and Fowler Avenues. The man driving westbound on Shaw veered off his lane due to unknown circumstances, then collided with the curb, a pole, and a traffic sign.

Emergency crews transported the man to Clovis Community Hospital with unspecified injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed.

At this time, authorities have not stated whether or not there were any other injuries reported in the crash.

Furthermore, officials closed the area for a few hours to conduct an investigation and clean up.
