Woman Severely Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Hostetter Road

SAN JOSE, CA (October 19, 2022) – Friday morning, one victim was injured in a pedestrian crash on Automation Parkway.

Police responded to the scene around 9:37 a.m., near Hostetter Road on October 14th.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a female pedestrian in the area.

According to police, the woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released her identity.

Furthermore, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No other information about the pedestrian crash on Automation Parkway was provided as further investigations are currently underway.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be released.
