20-Year-Old Woman Hurt in Vehicle Accident near Ivy Street

CHICO, CA (May 4, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian crash on 8th Street left one person with injuries.

According to the Chico Police, the team responded to the crash before 1:20 a.m., April 27th, involving a pedestrian.

Investigation showed that the woman attempted to cross at a red light when the vehicle collided with her.

Furthermore, the officers arrived at the scene and transported the 20-year-old woman to the hospital with moderate but non-life-threatening injuries.

Consequently, the police said that the driver was not the one at fault. Crossing in a red light was the factor of the incident.
