Injuries Reported, Driver Flees after Car Accident near X Street

EUREKA, CA (June 17, 2022) Tuesday morning, one person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on 4th Street.

The incident happened around 7:53 a.m., in the area of 4th Street and X Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

As per officers, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that at least four vehicles collided in the area.  In addition, one of the involved drivers fled the scene after the crash.

Upon arrival, police located one person with minor injuries and provided them aid at the scene. However, the names and conditions of all parties involved are currently withheld.

Moreover, Eureka police officers continue to ask anyone who has information to come forward and contact their local offices. At this time, an active investigation into the multi-vehicle collision on 4th Street is still underway.
