Collision on Interstate 80 near Wells Left One Seriously Injured

WELLS, NV (September 15, 2022) – Early Monday morning, officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80.

The incident happened on September 12th at approximately 6:17 a.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian near mile marker 354.

According to police, the vehicle fled the scene and the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown condition.

A portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Furthermore, police are on the hunt for the vehicle. No other information was provided and an active investigation is ongoing.
