Hit-and-Run Collision on Central Avenue Left a Woman Injured

MCKINLEYVILLE, CA (November 24, 2021) At least one person sustained injuries Sunday following a hit-and-run collision on Central Avenue.

The incident happened around 11:52 p.m. November 21st, on Central Avenue at Hiller Road.

According to CHP, the collision involved two vehicles, although the events leading up to the crash are still unknown.

One driver immediately fled the scene while the other one was left disabled.

Officers responding at the scene located a woman with injuries and medics responded to preform a medical evaluation.

Furthermore, Caltrans Quickmap revealed the traffic slowed down in the area until 12:25 p.m. that day.

Meantime, the CHP continues to investigate the crash and updates will be made once available.
