Teen Arrested after Two-Vehicle Collision on Farm Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 29, 2022) – One teen sustained injuries, and another teen was arrested after a DUI collision on Grand Canyon Drive.

The accident happened at 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Canyon Drive and Farm Road on July 20th.

Furthermore, according to police, a Ford Mustang traveling north on Grand Canyon crossed into the intersection at a green light.

Simultaneously, an eastbound Hyundai Accent ran a red light and collided with the Ford.

Consequently, paramedics rushed the passenger in the Hyundai to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

At the time, investigators believe the Hyundai driver was intoxicated and now faces DUI charges. Police added that the driver and passenger in the Hyundai are both teenagers.

Nevada Police are investigating the collision and will release further information once available.

Young drivers should not be allowed unrestricted driving privileges until they are at least the minimum driving age and have gained sufficient experience. It is also helpful to supervise your kids’ behind-the-wheel driving experience to develop defensive driving habits.
