Rider Injured in Bicycle Collision near South Park Avenue

TUCSON, AZ (November 2, 2022) – Wednesday morning, one unidentified rider was injured in a bicycle crash on East Benson Highway.

Police responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m., near the South Park Avenue exit on October 19th.

For reasons under investigation, a vehicle and a bicyclist collided in the area. Emergency crews arrived and transported the injured rider to a local hospital for further treatment.

At this time, officials have not released the identity of the injured bicyclist. 

Officers closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
