Lanes Reopened after Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5

BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 31, 2022) – At least one person sustained injuries Monday after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.

The incident happened around 10:42 a.m. at Interstate 5 along Frazier Mountain Park Road off-ramp.

California Highway Patrol responded to reports of two vehicles that collided under unknown circumstances.

Emergency crews transported one person with a head injury to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Although at this time, officials have no information about the victim’s condition and identity.

Moreover, the area was temporarily closed but has since reopened to the public.

Bakersfield police continue to investigate the collision, and will release updates once available.
