Two-Vehicle Collision near Edinger Avenue Leaves One Woman Injured

TUSTIN, CA (March 10, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, a woman was hospitalized after a rollover crash on State Route 55, authorities said.

According to police, the crash occurred around 1:47 a.m. on March 6th, just south of Edinger Avenue.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities located an overturned silver Toyota 4-Runner and a black Lexus sedan that crashed, blocking lanes.

Police said the female Lexus driver was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. Paramedics then transported the woman to a nearby hospital.

At this time, details about her current condition are not available.

Meanwhile, the male driver of the Toyota remained uninjured and stayed with police to cooperate with investigation.

Authorities closed all lanes of the freeway temporarily, but reopened within an hour.
