Driver Hospitalized after Truck Accident near 15th Street
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 13, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a fiery crash on Highway 50 left one person with injuries. The incident happened on March 1st, at around 7:40 a.m., in the eastbound lanes of the Freeway near 15th Street. According to reports, a solar company truck crashed into a Tesla, and both vehicles then caught fire. Following the crash, one person was transported to the hospital with minor wounds and it was not confirmed if it was an occupant of the truck or the Tesla. Meanwhile, the collision caused the lanes on the Capital City Freeway to be blocked for 1 hour and 30 minutes before it was reopened. At this time, it was unknown why the truck struck the Tesla.
