Military Truck Collision on 5 Freeway Injures One, Causes Fuel Spill

CASTAIC, CA (November 15, 2021) – Wednesday, one person was hospitalized after a truck collision on 5 Freeway.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene just before 5:00 p.m., near the 5 Freeway.

Additionally, California Highway Patrol said at least 20 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the military truck involved in the collision. Hazmat teams responded and quickly handled the spillage.

Reports indicate that at least one person was injured and taken to a hospital for further treatment.
