Containers Spill from Truck on Crenshaw Boulevard, Injuring One

JEFFERSON PARK, CA (November 2, 2021) At least one was transported to a hospital Tuesday after a truck accident on Crenshaw Boulevard.

The incident happened around 8:00 a.m., in the 3000 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, a flatbed truck reportedly dropped roughly 10 plastic 55-gallon drums, spilling an unknown material into the street.

Firefighters decontaminated one person exposed to the substance. Afterwards, medics took the injured party to a hospital as a precaution.

In addition, CHP redirected traffic away from the location while an investigation took place.

At this time, authorities are still reviewing the case for more details. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
