Single-Car DUI Crash near Eight Mile Road Left Woman Injured

STOCKTON, CA (February 24, 2022) – On Monday, an unidentified woman sustained injuries after a single-car DUI crash at Interstate 5.

The accident happened about 1:20 a.m. near northbound Interstate 5 and Eight Mile Road.

Furthermore, according to reports, a single-car accident took place and ejected a woman from the car. Paramedics then rushed the woman, in critical condition, to a local hospital for treatment.

Moreover, officials said a child was also in the car but did not suffer injuries from the crash.

Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol arrested the unidentified driver on suspicion of DUI and is currently in police custody.

At this time, authorities are conducting an active investigation of the crash and will release more information once available.
