Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Cornell Avenue

FRESNO, CA (August 25, 2021) – Sunday night, August 22, a 31-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital after a pedestrian crash on Blackstone avenue.

The crash took place at around 8:15 p.m., in the area of Blackstone and Cornell Avenue, where the man was discovered.

Per reports, the man attempted to cross the street outside of the marked crosswalks when he was struck by a passing vehicle.

According to police, they discovered the 31-year-old man lying in the street, before rushing him to a hospital where he is in critical condition.

Moreover, the driver did pull over to cooperated with authorities at the scene.

However, drugs or alcohol do not seem to be a factor in the crash.
