One Motorcyclist Injured in Accident near Lincoln Avenue

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 17, 2022) – Wednesday, one victim was hospitalized after a motorcycle collision on 30th Street

The accident happened near the intersection of 30th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, a Prius was traveling south on 30th Street and hit the northbound Harley Davidson rider as they were making a left turn. The impact ejected the rider onto the road, where they suffered various injuries.

Paramedics arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene for investigation and showed no signs of impairment. Authorities only described the Prius driver as a 27-year-old.

Both lanes of 30th Street were closed for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary duties.
