Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near 23rd Avenue

NORTH BEND, WA (February 25, 2022) – Friday evening, one person was pronounced dead after a pedestrian collision on Interstate 90.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the crash took place near 23rd Avenue.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the pedestrian died along the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at 23rd Avenue South. Although, the identity of the victim remains unknown.

Meanwhile, initial reports said that this was not a case of a hit-and-run. Officials diverted the traffic off the freeway during the investigation of the crash scene.
