32-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Crash on Wright Bliss Road

VAUGHN, WA (August 10, 2021) An unidentified person tragically died after a pedestrian crash on Wright Bliss Road in Vaughn on Wednesday.

Officers responded to dispatch calls about the incident that took place on Wright Bliss Road NW near the intersection of 109th St Ct NW.

Per reports, a pedestrian was walking  on Wright Bliss Road before a 63-year-old man driving his Scion northbound on Wright Bliss struck the pedestrian then went off the road and into the woods.

Responding emergency crews arrived but declared the unidentified 32-year-old pedestrian dead at the scene.

At this time, the identity of the deceased person remains unclear. Meanwhile, the driver remained and cooperated with the authorities. Officers concluded that no signs of drug or alcohol intoxication were present.

The WSP is still working to identify the circumstances surrounding the deadly pedestrian crash.
