One Victim Killed in Three-Car Collision near Jetty Road

MOSS LANDING, CA (February 17, 2022) – Tuesday morning, one person was killed and Joshua Glenn was hurt in a 3-vehicle accident on Highway 1.

According to California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:00 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Jetty Road.

Investigators later determined that the driver of a Freightliner truck collided head-on with a Toyota Camry and a Dodge Durango. Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced the Camry driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the truck driver, identified as 36-year-old Joshua Glenn from Callahan, Florida sustained minor injuries. Additionally, the Dodge Durango driver also sustained moderate injuries.

Officials later closed the northbound lanes of Highway 1 to investigate the 3-vehicle crash. Moss Landing Officials are still currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
