1 Killed in Deadly Collision near 210 Freeway in Sylmar

SYLMAR, CA (May 11, 2021) – Sunday night, one person was found dead after a fatal car crash on West Foothill Boulevard, near the 210 Freeway.

The deadly incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., near the 210 and 5 Freeways. Firefighters responded and found three people trapped inside the involved vehicle.

Emergency crews were able to extricate two victims. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on West Foothill Boulevard.

Moreover, the current condition of the two surviving passengers remains unknown. At this time, authorities have not yet released their identity.

The surrounding area on West Foothill Boulevard was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has reopened since the crash.
