Bicycle Hit-and-Run on Mission Boulevard Result in Death

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 9, 2021) An unidentified man tragically died Monday night following a bicycle hit-and-run on Mission Boulevard.

The fatal crash happened just after 11:00 p.m. August 2nd, in the area of Mission Boulevard and Cucamonga Avenue.

According to reports, the man was riding his bicycle when the driver struck him under unknown circumstances. The driver of the big rig drove off before police arrived.

The collision occurred around 11 p.m. Monday near Mission Boulevard and Cucamonga Avenue.

Responding paramedics discovered the victim in critical condition. They attempted to save the bicyclist’s life, but he died at the scene.

Officers withheld the victim’s name until he was identified and his next of kin notified.

According to police, the suspect’s car had sustained damage to the front of the vehicle.
