One Killed, Two Injured in Rollover Crash near Gilman Springs Road

SAN JACINTO, CA (April 28, 2022) – Thursday morning, one person was killed and two were hurt after a semi-truck collision on Soboba Road.

The incident happened around 9:50 a.m., near Gilman Springs Road.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a semi-truck overturned onto a sedan.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived within minutes and initiated an extrication operation to rescue the occupants of the smaller vehicle.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the sedan driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported two occupants to a local hospital for further treatment.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Additionally, the accident is still under active investigation.
