83-Year-Old Man Dead in a Head-On Crash in El Cajon

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 15, 2021) – Sunday night, October 3, a man died and one woman was injured after a head-on crash in El Cajon.

Furthermore, the accident happened around 5:54 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Graves Avenue, per the report.

According to police, a dark-colored car going west on Broadway collided with a white pickup truck traveling east turned south on Graves Avenue.

Additionally, a dark-colored car collided with the passenger seat door, badly wounding an 83-year-old man passenger who died shortly after being transported to the hospital.

However, the driver, an 86-year-old woman, was mildly injured.

Moreover, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.

Eventually, police shutdown the road for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary investigations.
