Motorcyclist Killed in Fiery Accident near 263rd Street East

PINON HILLS, CA (March 1, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, one person was killed a motorcycle collision on Pearblossom Highway.

Officers responded to the scene around 1:16 p.m., near 263rd Street East after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

Per reports, a black Harley Davidson motorcycle with two occupants struck a silver Toyota Tacoma head-on. Upon impact, the motorcycle immediately caught fire.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, paramedics pronounced one rider dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two other victims involved sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, helicopter Air Rescue 5 airlifted the other rider to Antelope Valley Hospital.

In addition, CalTrans aided the authorities with a hard road closure in both directions of Pearblossom Highway until approximately 6:35 pm.

At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, further details will be provided about the motorcycle collision on Pearblossom Highway.
