Unidentified Victim Injured in Motorcycle Accident near Highway 138

BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 17, 2022) – Sunday evening, one victim was airlifted after a motorcycle collision on Interstate 5.

The incident occurred around 7:53 p.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway. Dispatchers responded to the scene just north of Highway 138 shortly after.

At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that medics located a motorcyclist lying in the road upon arrival.

Eventually, a helicopter airlifted the victim to nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
