Several Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident near Terminous Road

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (March 15, 2022) – Late Saturday afternoon, at least five people were injured in a 3-vehicle collision on Highway 12.

Around 3:57 p.m., authorities responded to the scene near Terminous Road after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

According to reports, three vehicle were involved in the collision. In addition, at least five victims sustained unspecified injuries. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.

California Highway Patrol officers, Cosumnes Fire, and the River Delta Fire District responded to the scene.

Medical personnel airlifted one person to a local hospital for further treatment, in critical condition. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported the remaining victims to a nearby hospital. Although, their current conditions remain unknown.

Officers have not released any further details as of this time. However, an active investigation is currently ongoing.
