This summer KCRW is hosting music events every Thursday night at the Hammer Museum, starting June 28 and going through August 9.

As an exclusive to West Coast Sound, we're proud to announce the headliners of this series, called Made in L.A. Music: Retro rock warriors the Allah-Las will play on July 12, while...

...tropicalismo-influenced East L.A. foursome Chicano Batman play on August 9. The full line-up is on the next page.

The events being at 7pm, and the museum stays open late those nights. The event coincides with the museum's "Made In L.A." biennial.

In the meantime, check out our feature stories on the Allah-Las and Chicano Batman, both of which ran last year.

Also, peep our recent profile of KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez, who will spin at the August 9 show and host Chicano Batman. The station's DJ Anne Litt will do the same in front of the Allah-Las on July 12.

P.S. Parking won't be too bad, only $3 under the museum, available after 6pm.
