22-Year-Old Man Charged, 2 Hurt after DUI Collision near Brundage Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 24, 2024) – Sonnie Valencia was arrested Tuesday night after a DUI crash on Union Avenue.
Just prior to 10:00 p.m. on April 16th, law enforcement responded to an incident near Brundage Lane. According to reports, Valencia was operating a vehicle in the vicinity when it collided with another vehicle.
Valencia and the two occupants inside the other vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the impact.
Emergency responders temporarily closed off the surrounding area for cleanup and initial procedures. Subsequently, 22-year-old Sonnie Jacob Valencia was apprehended by authorities on suspicion of driving under the influence.
