62-Year-Old Anaheim Woman Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Harbor Boulevard

FULLERTON, CA (April 18, 2024) Irma Pedraza died early Monday morning in a DUI crash on Orangethorpe Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. The incident occurred at approximately 12:11 a.m.

According to reports, a white BMW 428i traveling southbound collided with the rear of a blue Toyota RAV 4, which was stationary at a red light in the southbound No. 1 lane. Additionally, the BMW impacted the driver’s side of a black Chevrolet Silverado, also stopped at a red light in the No. 2 lane.

Upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced the passenger in the RAV 4, identified as 62-year-old Pedraza from Anaheim, deceased at the scene. Paramedics transported two Anaheim residents aged 22 and 25 to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old driver of the Chevrolet received treatment and was discharged from the scene. Emergency crews temporarily closed the surrounding area to facilitate cleanup and preliminary procedures. The Fullerton Police Department suspects intoxication may have been a contributing factor in the incident.
