Last Friday, L.A. Weekly held its first annual Biennial Art Show at Track 16 Gallery, Bergamot Station. The show was curated by art writer Doug Harvey and associate creative director Shelley Leopold. Artist/DJ/magazine magnate Shepard Fairey turned out the tunes, Red Stripe turned out the booze, and many turned up in costume: J.T. Leroy or Kurt Cobain, you decide (top); interfaith dialogue (bottom); the damage (center). If you missed the party, dont worry the show goes on through November 12 (minus the goosing). Our Style Council was on the scene; check their blog here: http://laweekly.blogs.com/style_council/.
