Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near San Bruno Avenue

SAN BRUNO, CA (April 16, 2024) – One man died Monday night in a pedestrian accident on southbound Highway 101, just south of San Bruno Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 10:12 p.m.

Following the initial inquiry, it was determined that a Hyundai Sonata collided with a man walking eastward in the southbound lanes. The Hyundai driver promptly stopped and awaited the arrival of emergency responders. Despite extensive efforts by paramedics, the male pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Currently, the identity of the deceased individual has not been disclosed. Emergency crews temporarily closed off the vicinity for cleanup and preliminary procedures.
