"We removed Kids Meals from our restaurants because they aren't a part of our brand strategy," says Taco Bell spokesperson Rob Poetsch. "As we listening to our customers, they tell us they want a more relevant Taco Bell, so we're focusing on developing menu items that deliver on 'food as experience' such as Cantina Bell and Doritos Locos Tacos."
According to a press release, Taco Bell's chief executive officer Greg Creed says, "What does make sense is concentrating on expanding choices that meet and exceed the diverse needs of consumers of all ages, without losing focus on what makes us great today."
For fans of kids meals, your favorite food items -- such as the crunchy taco, soft taco, cheese roll-up and bean burrito -- will still be available on the menu. They just won't be sold as a combo, which, if you're reading this, you're probably old enough to enjoy as separate items anyway.
