Want to look at a pretty picture? Need a good Thanksgiving side dish idea? Well, here you go -- on both counts. This LA Weekly Flickr pool photo of a lovely plate of garlic roasted cauliflower with lemon and Parmesan comes to us from photographer averagebetty, who happily provides both a recipe and a video for the dish.

It's the kind of recipe we like: no crazy expensive ingredients, no hidden requirement for a sous-vide machine, and using ingredients that you can find right now at the farmers markets. (We saw orange and purple cauliflower the other day, so knock yourself out.) And a reminder that if you have any brilliant shots of food you've taken around town recently, you might consider uploading them on our Flickr pool. Never know where they might show up.
