77-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Mission Road

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 25, 2024) – Jose Dorado died Tuesday night, in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Plaza Del Sol and Mission Road. The incident occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. The LAPD reports that a male pedestrian was struck by a southbound vehicle on Mission Road under unknown circumstances. Following the collision, the driver left without assisting the victim or notifying the authorities. Emergency responders arrived and declared the pedestrian, identified as 77-year-old Jose Dorado, deceased at the scene.
