Ed Harcourt, Spaceland, 6/4

The English singer plows through despite some technical glitches

Earlier in the year I had the occasion to see Ed and band during the SXSW conference on a small stage with a less than stellar PA setup and I don’t recall any point during that set that someone wasn’t trying to fix something with the sound. I’d heard him perform on Morning Becomes Eclectic in the past and put this day down as one of those horrible sets that ends with the performer making a bee-line to the bar to ease stress of the atrocity that just took place.
