The Pets of Skid Row, and Their Owners

The Pets of Skid Row, and Their Owners

Every Wednesday, the Skid Row nonprofit Inner City Law Center opens its doors to pets and pet owners in the area who are struggling to make ends meet. Some are homeless; some are living on the fringes of homelessness, in supportive housing or receiving a rent subsidy. Here, they can get a wide range of services, including free pet food, flea and tick medication, dog harnesses, and even doggie jackets.
